In June Vinitaly International will return to New York as part of a project supported and financed by the Ministry of Economic Development (MISE) and organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE). The main goal of this project, to be carried out in collaboration with Cibus (Fiere di Parma) and Tuttofood (Fiera di Milano), is to promote the Italian agro-industrial sector within the USA.
From the 26th to the 28th, the Vinitaly International Academy (VIA) headed by one of the most influent personalities in the Italian wine panorama, Doctor Ian D'Agata, will be organizing a thematic winebar inside the Italian Lounge on the occasion of Summer Fancy Food Show
On the 28th, VIA will also be holding a series of three Executive Wine Seminars at the Astor Center in New York) . The first, a blind tasting, will allow participants to taste and learn, together with Dr. D’Agata, about the characteristics of a specific grape variety or area without being influenced in any manner. The other two EWS will focus on wines awarded during the first edition of Vinitaly’s International Wine Award, "5 Star Wines".
