Vinitaly International Academy
Over 350 hand-picked wine professionals have participated in the past 9 editions of the Certification Course, 151 of them succeeded in obtaining the title as “Italian Wine Ambassadors” with another 11 prominent participants gaining the highest level of qualification as “Italian Wine Experts”.
In light of the ever-growing interests towards Italian wine in the Asia Pacific area, VIA is to host its 10 edition of Ambassadorship Certification Course from 4 to 8 November 2018 in Hong Kong. This is also the 4th edition held in China following the 3 successful courses in Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu.
The course does not just offer hours of in-depth classroom teaching but also the opportunity to taste representative examples of Italian wines carefully sourced from the local market.
The Hong Kong edition is set to start prior to the 11th edition of Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair, where Vinitaly organizes the Italian national pavilion. This would turn into a great opportunity for the candidates to taste the diversified offers from all over Italy and socialize with industry elites.
