After four Certification Courses abroad, Vinitaly International Academy flies back to Verona, its original home, for its 8th edition to be held from the 6th to the 10th of April. Five days of in-depth lessons entirely focused on Italian wine with a final exam to become VIA certified Ambassadors or Experts.
The eighth edition of the VIA Certification Course will be held in Verona from April 6th to the 10th. OperaWine will be on Saturday 14th and from April 15th to the 18th, the 52nd edition of Vinitaly will take place.
The VIA Certification Course represents a unique opportunity for wine professionals all over the world to gain extensive knowledge from the leading Italian wine expert on the subject of Italian grape varieties and wines. The course does not just offer hours of in depth classroom teaching but also the opportunity to taste hundreds of wines that are not easily found outside of Italy. In this manner, our students have the opportunity to really understand and learn the differences between each variety and wine, as well as learn what each wine should really smell and taste like.

Preliminary Timetable:
Every day from 9:00 – 12:30 / 14:00 – 16:30
Exam day 9:00 – 11:00 and oral exam for the Expert level from 15:00 – 14:30
Application Deadline: December 15th 2017 Candidates will receive a notification of acceptance no later than December 22nd 2017.
Registration fee: 1.290 euro (VAT included). This includes: accommodation, daily transportation and a light lunch during the entire duration of the course
How to register: upon communication of acceptance, all candidates must fill out and send the payment form as well as a copy of the payment receipt to via@vinitalytour.com. Applications can only be accepted and confirmed upon receipt of the completed registration form and registration fee. Forms and payments not received by March 1st 2018 will result in the candidate’s exclusion from the course.
